Role Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented Design Engineer to draft clean-room furniture designs, process vessels, and research animal housing modules. You will translate client layout requirements into production-ready 3D CAD files.
Key Responsibilities
- Draft 3D models and detailed 2D fabrication drawings of custom stainless steel furniture (tables, change lockers, pass boxes, caging systems).
- Ensure all designs incorporate cGMP layout standards, including radius corners, flush welding surfaces, and sloping tops.
- Collaborate with floor supervisors to verify sheet metal bend tolerances and structural welding parameters.
- Create Bill of Materials (BOM) files to support raw steel procurement planning.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong command over SolidWorks, Inventor, or AutoCAD.
- Familiarity with sheet metal processing constraints (bending, punching, laser cutting, TIG welding).
- Previous experience in fabricating pharmaceutical process machinery is highly valued.
