PHARMACEUTICAL DRAINS with Double water seal, double security. This type of stainless steel floor drain with a double seal/ siphon ensures a high functionality of the classic odor trap. In fact, in addition to the first level of siphoning, there is a second level, which also acts as a “barrier” to stop the smell from returning back to the surface (this obviously happens only, and necessarily, with the presence of water in the floor drain itself).The areas where this type of floor drain finds most applications are the refrigerating rooms, pharmaceutical plants and, therefore, in all circumstances where there is a particular demand of attention for hygiene or, with the addition of the watertight blind cover (with “OR” gasket seal), in areas where it is required a guarantee of blocking any gas leakage, in line with current standards. The thickness of the plate may vary from 1.5 to 3 mm all filled with stainless steel depending on the models.
